The cornerstone of our technology is the Wireless Application Enabler (WAE) which consists of the Wireless Application Builder and Wireless Application Server. The Builder is a graphical development environment that allows enterprises, professional service firms and developers to develop complex wireless applications easily, efficiently, and with a high-degree of flexibility.
The Builder works alongside our Application Server - the runtime engine that executes and serves up wireless applications. The Application Server interprets the application at runtime, generates the code, and serves and optimizes for the wireless devices. The Application Server can be load balanced and facilitates data acceleration through data caching.
The Server supports virtually all Internet-enabled devices (e.g., Internet phones, PDAs, 2-Way Pagers, HTML, and I-Mode Terminals, etc.), wireless operating systems (e.g., Palm OS, Windows CE, etc.), wireless browsers (Nokia, Openwave, Go.Web, etc.), all connections to legacy enterprise systems (i.e., ERP, CRM, SCM) and databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL, Sybase, etc.), and carrier networks (i.e., Bell Mobility, Rogers, Bell South, etc.).
The Wireless Application Enabler has been used to develop Xybo's Wireless Contact Server for GoldMine, Communication Central for MS Exchange, POP3 and IMAP4 Email Servers, the Xybo ASP / Portal, as well as all custom solutions developed for clients.

WAE Components
Notification Engine
Our Notification Engine is the solution for managing notifications ("alerts") based on administrator or user defined preferences and events. The Modular Architecture easily enables business applications to be built on top of the Notification Engine.
ASP / Portal Module
The ASP / Portal Module is the solution for establishing and maintaining an ASP and / or Corporate Portal. The ASP / Portal Module has three components: Publishing, Wireless Portal, and Administration.
The Publishing Component provides the tools for wireless application developers / users to set-up and publish their wireless applications to the ASP.
The Wireless Portal Component provides the tools for wireless users to access and configure content within the ASP and across the wireless Internet. The toolset also includes a Mobile Wireless Gateway which allows users to access their email account (s) that are being managed by their company administrator or ISP.
The Administration Component provides the toolset for System Administrators to manage a large number of wireless applications and / or users.
